Senior Interior Designer – Hospitality

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Act as a crucial member of the project team with minimal supervision.

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and public agencies on designated projects.

• Oversee the work of team members.

• Function as a project manager and/or project leader within a collaborative team setting.

• Establish standards for project development.

• Spearhead the creation of interior design concepts and understand clients' requirements.

• Guide the program development process.

• Lead or engage in project phase charrettes, project kick-offs, schematic design, design development, and preparation of construction documents.

• Interpret technical codes and conduct research as necessary.

• Take part in interviews, manage internal staffing, and oversee revenue management.

• Direct or contribute to the formulation and management of project budgets.

• Drive marketing initiatives to secure new projects.

• Mentor the project team.

• Engage actively in all facets of practice management.

• Advance in the profession while upholding the firm’s core values.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Professional License/NCIDQ is mandatory.

• Must possess honest, direct, and constructive communication skills.

• Comprehensive knowledge of all stages of the design process is essential.

• Capability to lead individuals and groups, including consultants, towards successful project outcomes.

• Proficient ability to represent the firm professionally to clients and the community.

• Skill in maintaining long-term client relationships and securing new work.

• Proficiency in software such as Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and specification writing tools.

• Extensive experience in managing all phases of interior architectural projects.
