📋 Description

• The Senior Interface Developer (Senior Clinical Application Analyst) plays a vital role in the integration and support of clinical and ancillary applications at UAMS, primarily focusing on Epic Bridges and Orion Rhapsody Interface Engine.

• This position operates with minimal oversight, merging technical skills and healthcare IT expertise to design, develop, test, implement, and maintain interface solutions that facilitate data integration and ensure smooth system communication.

• A deep understanding of interface engine architecture, HL7 messaging standards, API integrations, and system troubleshooting is essential for this role.

• The Senior Developer takes the lead in or contributes to complex integration projects, performs thorough analyses of interface functionality through the engine and Epic, and supports the application lifecycle via change control, documentation, and operational readiness.


⛳️ Requirements

• Master's Degree in clinical, healthcare, integration, or a related field with 3 years of proven IT and Clinical Integration experience -OR- Bachelor's Degree in clinical, healthcare, integration, or a related field with 5 years of proven IT and Clinical Integration experience -OR- Associate Degree in clinical, healthcare, integration, or a related field with 7 years of proven IT and Clinical Integration experience -OR- High School Diploma/GED with 9 years of proven IT and Clinical Integration experience.

• Epic Bridges or Epic Clinical Application Certification is required; if not certified in Bridges, certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

• Experience in a Clinical/Healthcare Environment with Epic as the EMR is necessary.

• IT Integration Experience should correspond with the length of experience based on the level of education.

• Working knowledge of or experience with HL7's 2.x standard and specifications is required.

• Proven analytical skills are essential.

• Familiarity with VPN and SFTP is necessary.
