Senior Integration Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of one or more integration domains from start to finish, encompassing roadmap creation, architectural decisions, trade-offs, and delivery.

• Recognize issues, define solutions, and ensure their successful implementation.

• Provide robust, production-ready integrations to support our expanding customer base.

• Create microservice-based solutions utilizing REST, GraphQL, streaming APIs, MCP, and LLM-driven automation.

• Integrate the platform with cybersecurity tools and external services.

• Enhance design and development processes using LLM-based coding assistants, AI-enhanced testing, and automated code reviews.

• Streamline builds, deployments, monitoring, and incident triage through AI and scripting automation.

• Advocate for AI adoption within the team and assist colleagues in integrating AI tools into their daily tasks.

• Develop internal tools where they can provide leverage and track efficiency improvements.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of experience in backend software development.

• Proficient in Python, Go, or Java.

• Solid foundation in building and managing production microservices.

• Extensive experience with API design and integration, covering REST, GraphQL, streaming APIs, LLM APIs, and embedding services.

• Familiarity with secure API practices, including OAuth, API keys, and rate limiting.

• Strong background in distributed systems, message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ, or orchestration frameworks such as Celery or Airflow.

• Proven experience in regular production use of AI tools like Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT to enhance engineering workflows.

• Ability to discern when AI-generated output is reliable and when human expertise is necessary.

• Preferred: experience in the cybersecurity domain, particularly in SOAR, EDR, SIEM, XDR, or similar areas.

• Preferred: knowledge in large-scale data processing, real-time pipelines, or event-driven architectures.

• Preferred: familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Preferred: experience with containerized deployments using Kubernetes or Helm.

• Preferred: understanding of AI-native integration patterns, including MCP, function calling, or agent orchestration frameworks.

• Preferred: experience in building systems that incorporate LLMs or AI services into workflows or product features.
