This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and sustain the IRIS for Health integration platform environments hosted on AWS EC2 instances, ensuring optimal availability, performance, and scalability.
• Administer Linux-based servers, configure network security including PaloAlto VPN tunnels, conduct system maintenance, apply security patches, and enhance system performance across development, staging, and production environments.
• Design, execute, and manage CI/CD pipelines using CodeFresh/GitLab to automate deployment workflows and guarantee consistent, reliable releases.
• Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot IRIS for Health integrations with client EHRs (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts), ensuring peak performance and reliability.
• Create automation scripts and tools to optimize environment provisioning, deployment workflows, and routine maintenance activities.
• Implement and uphold infrastructure automation through contemporary DevOps practices and tools.
• Establish comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging systems; participate in a rotating on-call schedule for critical production support.
• Evaluate system performance metrics, pinpoint bottlenecks, and deploy solutions to enhance platform reliability and efficiency.
• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or 10 years of equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in system administration, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.
• Proficient in Linux/Unix administration with strong command-line operation and shell scripting skills.
• Experience in administering InterSystems Cache' and the IRIS for Health platform.
• Practical experience with AWS services and the ability to manage cloud infrastructure effectively.
• Skilled in scripting languages (Python, Cache ObjectScript, Bash, JavaScript) for automation and tooling purposes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using CodeFresh, GitLab, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of healthcare integration standards (HL7, FHIR) and interface engines.
