Senior Insurance Product Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Create, prepare, and analyze statistical evaluations of insurance sales, claims data, or other significant business metrics to aid in strategic decision-making within the business unit.

• Develop, interpret, and deliver analytical insights and proposals to various stakeholder groups to address mid to high-level business challenges while aligning with company objectives.

• Utilize fundamental statistical techniques to model different underwriting and pricing business practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Data/Business Analytics, or another relevant quantitative discipline OR a Bachelor’s degree in any field along with relevant prior experience.

• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of data analysis tools such as R, SAS, Python, or Power BI.

• Ability to work autonomously with general guidance and excel in a dynamic team environment.

• Capacity to manage multiple concurrent priorities while delivering accurate and timely results.

• A strong desire to learn and the ability to pose thoughtful questions.

• Effective time management, attention to detail, communication, and organizational abilities.

• Previous experience in auto insurance; experience in Commercial Auto is an advantage.
