Senior Instructional Designer, Global Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop Capability/Competency Maps for essential roles within Global Operations.

• Create innovative training solutions for Annual Quality Training, GMP, GCP, GxP, regulatory, and technical priorities.

• Utilize video, mixed reality, augmented reality, virtual reality, immersive training, and AI to provide effective learning solutions.

• Evaluate existing training materials for their efficacy, clarity, consistency, effectiveness, and accessibility compliance.

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of new technologies, ensuring regulatory compliance, security reviews, and ongoing enablement.

• Design and produce interactive video and Extended Reality content.

• Collaborate with Global Operations leadership and HR L&D to establish learning priorities.

• Monitor learning KPIs and metrics to assess training effectiveness.

• Create and implement the vision for technical learning priorities across Global Operations.

• Foster and maintain cross-functional relationships and collaborate throughout Agilent.

• Develop the learning strategy to support employee career advancement in alignment with Global Operations strategy.

• Manage timelines, tools, and resources through matrixed delivery teams.

• Mentor training staff across Global Operations.

• Assist in internal and external audits as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognized institution.

• At least 5 years of experience in developing training content.

• Proficient in eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate RISE, Captivate, and Vyond.

• Preferred experience in video content development, extended reality experiences, and virtual reality.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite, including Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel.

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines and regulatory requirements is preferred.

• Experience in utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) for content development is preferred.

• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced team environment with strong attention to detail and ethical standards.

• Capability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
