This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and workflow documents from the ground up for various operational teams.
• Develop organized learning pathways for new employee onboarding, cross-training initiatives, and continuous skill enhancement.
• Generate instructional materials for intricate, multi-step processes.
• Formulate reusable templates and establish content guidelines.
• Facilitate interviews and collaborative sessions with subject matter experts and managers to capture workflows.
• Observe and translate informal knowledge-based operational processes into trainable content.
• Collaborate with leadership and managers to pinpoint training deficiencies, prioritize content development, and confirm processes.
• Convert operational procedures into educational materials and living references.
• Oversee the training content structure across various teams and roles.
• Set up standards for content governance, version control, review cycles, update triggers, and assignment of ownership.
• Manage the upkeep of content to ensure SOPs and training materials remain current.
• Provide leadership with updates on content coverage and any existing gaps.
• Revise training and documentation as workflows evolve.
• Identify enhancements in documentation and training that boost operational performance.
• Establish feedback mechanisms to refine training continuously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Communications, or related relevant experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or learning and development content creation.
• Minimum of 2 years concentrating on operational or process-oriented training.
• Proven portfolio showcasing training programs, SOPs, or curriculum developed from scratch.
• Experience in supporting complex, multi-departmental operations involving 50 or more employees across various teams.
• Proficient in leading sessions to extract knowledge from subject matter experts and converting verbal insights into structured training materials.
• Experience in designing training platforms comprehensively, including information hierarchy, role-specific learning paths, content categorization, and user navigation.
• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to simplify technical operational processes into accessible training content.
• Familiarity with maintaining content update cycles connected to process modifications.
• Preference for experience with Trainual or comparable SOP-focused platforms.
• Preferred experience in constructing training infrastructure during periods of rapid organizational expansion.
• Background in operations-intensive, compliance-sensitive workflows is preferred.
• Experience in integrating multimedia content is preferred.
• Prior experience working within remote-first or distributed teams across different time zones is preferred.
• Comfort level with project management, CRM, and communication tools is preferred.
• Experience in developing train-the-trainer programs is preferred.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. as a full-time employee; REE does not offer visa sponsorship.
