This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop a detailed content strategy and training library for ACT’s post-test data products.
• Design scalable training materials and resources for states, school districts, and educators.
• Gather and document best practices from customer interactions to guide product improvements and data usage impact.
• Create internal frameworks, tools, and templates to provide consistent data literacy support.
• Collaborate with school districts and state education programs on interpreting post-test results, analyzing outcomes, and planning interventions.
• Facilitate state, regional, and national webinars and in-person training sessions.
• Represent ACT at regional education conferences, state agency gatherings, and customer events.
• Assist in the development of RFP responses and preparation for data literacy and professional development training delivery.
• Support the goals of the Revenue Office by enhancing customer retention and introducing solutions that enable desired outcomes.
• Train and mentor internal field staff on the post-test data training library.
• Build institutional knowledge regarding customer challenges, practical solutions, and emerging data-use practices.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in education data/professional development roles utilizing data and analysis for decision-making.
• Experience in professional development, training delivery, or instructional support within educational environments.
• Proven experience in producing external-facing content and resources, including training sessions, presentations, and guides.
• Strong skills in quantitative analysis.
• Demonstrated experience with K12 or postsecondary education data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to convey data concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to build relationships and influence educators, state officials, and school leaders.
• Commitment to enhancing educational outcomes and promoting equity.
• Proficient in data visualization and analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Experienced with virtual training platforms like Microsoft Teams.
• Skilled in content development or e-learning authoring tools such as PowerPoint, Articulate 360, or Adobe Captivate.
• Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in education, policy, public policy, economics, statistics, data science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Preferred: master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: direct experience with a State Education Agency, Local Education Agency, or assessment provider.
• Preferred: familiarity with the K12 educational assessment and accountability landscape.
• Preferred: experience in designing and delivering large-scale training involving complex datasets.
• Preferred: background in instructional design or curriculum development.
• Preferred: experience collaborating with school districts, state education agencies, or higher education institutions on data initiatives.
• Finalists will undergo a criminal background check.
• Completion of the ACT National Career Readiness Certificate is recommended.
