This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Design, manage, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure within a multi-account setup, emphasizing reliability, scalability, and operational transparency.
• Support and enhance our EKS/Kubernetes platform, including clusters, foundational AWS infrastructure, networking integrations, and shared platform components.
• Contribute to and uphold Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code, encompassing shared modules and production repositories.
• Engage with DNS, DHCP, routing, load balancing, and WAF technologies (primarily Imperva; with a comprehensive understanding of AWS ALB/NLB) to facilitate application traffic and secure access patterns.
• Take part in Active Directory architecture, management, and integration with cloud and platform services.
• Share accountability for the lifecycle management of SSL/TLS certificates — a key duty of the Infrastructure Operations team.
• Develop automation and tools using Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages to optimize provisioning, configuration, and operational workflows.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to enhance troubleshooting, draft and refine runbooks, and minimize repetitive operational tasks — focusing on practical applications where AI provides significant value in daily infrastructure operations.
• Collaborate with application, security, and network teams using GitOps-style methodologies (GitHub, CI pipelines, change reviews).
• Engage in a rotational on-call schedule and participate in CAB reviews for major infrastructure modifications.
• Propel new architecture, expansion, and modernization initiatives while taking ownership of existing systems.
• Hands-on experience with essential infrastructure components: DNS, DHCP, routing, load balancing, and Linux/Windows operating systems and services.
• Solid understanding of AWS, particularly in multi-account environments.
• Practical experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles, including contributions to shared repositories.
• Experience in supporting Kubernetes/EKS or similar container platforms.
• Proficiency in using AI tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar) to enhance infrastructure tasks — scripting, diagnosing problems, or exploring unfamiliar systems.
• Knowledge of WAF and traffic management concepts (Imperva preferred).
• Experience in designing, managing, and integrating Active Directory environments.
• Scripting proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages — creating one-off tools, automation for bootstrapping, and deployment workflows.
• Comfort operating in production environments with shared responsibility, change management, and on-call duties.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across platform, network, security, and application teams.
