This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Creating software and tools to enhance automation, support, maintenance, and operability of services.
• Utilizing data to assess the availability, reliability, and sustainability of our infrastructure.
• Actively participating in systems hardening and compliance initiatives (e.g., SOC2, FedRAMP).
• Collaborating with product and engineering leadership to establish strategy, priorities, and objectives for the Infrastructure team.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in a role involving AWS and/or GCP IaaS services, such as compute, object storage, IAM, VPC, and load balancing. Familiarity with Airflow, GKE, EKS, and BigQuery is advantageous.
• Highly skilled in modern Unix/Linux operating systems/distributions, preferably CentOS and Alpine.
• Experience with CI/CD processes, containers and/or virtualization, web servers, and databases.
• Proven experience in defining SLOs/SLIs and implementing monitoring, alerting, and runbooks.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Airflow, GKE, EKS, BigQuery, and/or Kubernetes is a plus.
• Adaptable. Able to respond quickly to changing goals.
• Self-sufficient. Take ownership of your work and ensure timely completion.
• Strong communication skills. Ability to convey complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing.
• Collaborative. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and engage with individuals at all levels within an organization.
• Additionally, this role may qualify for participation in TRM’s equity plan.
