Data Center Infrastructure Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and develop infrastructure solutions for data centers tailored to customer needs.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement data center infrastructure.

• Create plans for data center layouts, including floor plans, rack heights, and simulations.

• Organize cable installations, covering connection requirements, port assignments, activity schedules, best practices, and point-to-point designs.

• Implement and provide ongoing support for NVIDIA products.

• Review and enhance work instructions related to data center operations.

• Contribute to updates for data center standards.

• Manage multiple tasks and priorities while participating in project discussions.

• Record processes and maintain detailed event logs.

• Supervise and guide on-site work performed by partners and third-party vendors.

• Engage with customers, partners, and internal teams to assess, define, and execute large-scale data center initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of demonstrated experience as a data center infrastructure engineer, field service engineer, or a similar role, with expertise in designing and implementing data center infrastructures.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.

• Comprehensive understanding of data center environments, server technologies, and networking equipment.

• Significant experience in the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of data center equipment.

• Strong grasp of networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.

• Outstanding problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficient in documenting processes and procedures.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Possession of a network certification, such as CCIE.

• Familiarity with InfiniBand Technology.
