Senior Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee and provide support for Windows Server environments and essential infrastructure services.

• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, user accounts, permissions, and identity management solutions.

• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, licensing, and user assistance.

• Maintain VMware and Hyper-V virtualization environments, encompassing provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of virtual machines.

• Support physical servers, storage systems, and data center operations effectively.

• Manage backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.

• Assist with network infrastructure components, including switches, firewalls, VPN connections, and wireless environments.

• Provide Tier II/III technical support and act as an escalation point for intricate technical issues.

• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure, application, hardware, and end-user technology issues.

• Implement security best practices, system patching, and vulnerability remediation measures.

• Maintain technical documentation and engage in infrastructure projects and upgrades.

• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to meet organizational technology requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.

• 5+ years of experience in supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.

• Proven experience in delivering advanced technical support and troubleshooting.

• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.

• Extensive experience in Windows Server Administration.

• Strong background in Active Directory management.

• Significant experience with Microsoft 365 Administration.

• Proficient in VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V environments.

• Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

• Strong experience with backup and recovery solutions.

• Familiarity with storage technologies and data center operations.

• Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.

• Preferred: Knowledge of networking technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and switching.

• Preferred: Proficiency with PowerShell or automation tools.

• Preferred: Relevant certifications such as VMware VCP, Microsoft, CompTIA Server+, Network+, or CCNA.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
