Senior Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of shared infrastructure, automation, and reliability tasks across all IT platforms.

• Manage access, guardrails, and costs associated with AWS, Azure, and GCP accounts utilized for IT tooling.

• Collaborate with Security and Infrastructure teams on tenant-level modifications and cloud migrations impacting Entra and M365.

• Develop and maintain Git repositories, CI pipelines, and review processes for IT configurations involving Okta, Jamf, Intune, and Google Workspace.

• Oversee identity lifecycle and IT workflow automation, encompassing SCIM, provisioning, and orchestration for onboarding and offboarding.

• Implement health checks, alerting systems, configuration drift detection, SaaS backup solutions, and verified recovery runbooks.

• Transition scripts and administrative tools into source control, document them thoroughly, and ensure their upkeep.

• Establish repeatable technical standards for new offices in collaboration with Network and AV/Media teams.

• Enhance change control, documentation, and runbooks throughout the infrastructure domain.

• Monitor and renew IT certificates, manage DNS NS solutions, and develop expiry tracking systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years in corporate IT engineering, systems engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

• At least 2 years of experience managing shared infrastructure or automation within a SaaS-first organization.

• Proficient in infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform or similar technologies.

• Experience in managing systems with Git, including pull-request reviews and continuous integration.

• Strong skills in Python scripting, along with experience in Bash, PowerShell, or Go.

• Practical experience with SAML, OIDC, SCIM, and lifecycle automation in Okta or Entra.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including basic knowledge of IAM, account management, and cost considerations.

• Comfortable with DNS, TLS, certificate management, and fundamental enterprise networking concepts.

• Proven experience in building reliable monitoring and alerting systems.

• Skilled in creating runbooks that are effectively utilized by other team members.

• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to articulate changes, risks, and rollback processes to non-engineers.
