Infrastructure Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assess the current ITSC tiering assigned to services within the CBS inventory.

• Collaborate with internal business stakeholders and Arm’s Length Bodies (ALBs) to validate business continuity and recovery needs.

• Reconcile inconsistencies between documented service tiering, Service Operations Guide (SOG) records, and ServiceNow (SNoW) data.

• Conduct a structured gap analysis comparing the existing ITSC tiering with confirmed business requirements.

• Document the finalized ITSC tiering requirements for each CBS service within scope.

• Examine existing technical architectures for in-scope CBS services and evaluate their alignment with confirmed ITSC requirements.

• Identify discrepancies between current technical resilience and the desired ITSC outcomes.

• Formulate high-level recommendations and target architecture options to bridge identified gaps.

• Review current service and support arrangements and evaluate operational and support capabilities against confirmed ITSC tiering requirements.

• Identify gaps between existing support models and required ITSC service levels, and suggest enhancements to service and support arrangements.

• Produce comprehensive technical, service, and support gap assessments for each CBS service analyzed.

• Provide a consolidated set of prioritized recommendations outlining necessary changes to meet ITSC requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in technical architecture, including the assessment of existing architectures and development of target architecture options.

• Understanding of IT Service Continuity (ITSC), service tiering, and business continuity and recovery requirements.

• Experience in conducting structured gap analyses and generating prioritized recommendations.

• Competence in evaluating service and support models against required service levels.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow.

• Experience in engaging with business stakeholders, including Arm’s Length Bodies (ALBs).

• Must be eligible for BPSS checks.

• Must have the legal right to live and work in the country where the position is located, without the need for employer sponsorship.
