Senior Infrastructure DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance scalable, secure cloud infrastructure.

• Establish infrastructure standards and set long-term technical vision.

• Drive cost efficiency and enhance performance metrics.

• Manage uptime, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and incident management protocols.

• Lead reviews following incidents and implement systemic enhancements.

• Develop strategies for monitoring, alerting, and observability.

• Spearhead the maturity and governance of Infrastructure as Code.

• Optimize CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment reliability.

• Empower engineering teams through enhanced tools and platform capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or infrastructure engineering.

• Extensive expertise in AWS and cloud architecture.

• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code.

• Demonstrated ownership of complex, production-grade systems.

• Excellent systems thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Capacity to influence teams and guide technical decisions.

• Experience with Kubernetes and container platforms at scale (strong indicators).

• Background in high-availability SaaS products (strong indicators).

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2 (strong indicators).

• Proven experience in mentoring engineers and shaping best practices (strong indicators).
