Senior Information Technology Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement Qvest's internal technology timeline in accordance with the overall business strategy.

• Oversee the successful execution of all technology initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and budget compliance.

• Manage and optimize Qvest’s technology infrastructure, guaranteeing that systems are secure, reliable, and scalable.

• Handle risks, issues, and bugs, providing transparency regarding issue status and establishing a process for timely resolution.

• Assist Leadership in formulating an annual technology budget and manage adherence to this budget throughout the year.

• Ensure all systems are compliant with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Safeguard the security of all technology systems to protect both company and client data.

• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on technology strategy, project progress, and performance metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software development and IT infrastructure.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels and functions.

• Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, with a solid understanding of cloud architecture, services, and best practices.

• Experience managing large-scale data environments, including data storage, processing, and governance.

• Strong knowledge of data management frameworks, databases (SQL, NoSQL), and data analytics tools.

• Demonstrated success in implementing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies.

• Expertise in identifying vulnerabilities, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

• Proven experience in establishing rigorous quality control processes and tools.

• Expertise in implementing testing protocols while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
