Senior Information Systems Engineer, IT Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Manage AWS accounts utilized for corporate IT, VPN, and supporting infrastructure.

• Oversee endpoint management for macOS and Windows through MDM solutions (e.g., Jamf, Intune).

• Act as the primary ServiceNow administrator for IT & Security, focusing on core data models, catalog management, workflows, SLAs, and integrations.

• Design and sustain automation workflows across IT systems (e.g., Okta Workflows, Serval, Zapier, PowerShell/Python, APIs).

• Assess, configure, and govern AI tools and MCP-based agent frameworks in collaboration with IT and Security.

• Serve as Tier 3 escalation support for complex issues related to identity, MDM, ServiceNow, and core platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in corporate IT roles with substantial responsibilities in systems administration across identity, SaaS, and/or infrastructure in a cloud-first setting.

• Practical, hands-on experience with AWS (IAM, VPCs, EC2/ECS or similar, basic networking, tagging/governance).

• Proficient in administering ServiceNow or a comparable enterprise ITSM platform, including workflow configuration, catalog items, change/incident processes, and basic reporting.

• Direct, hands-on experience with at least one enterprise identity provider—Okta is strongly preferred; Azure AD/Entra ID or a similar platform is acceptable.

• Proven track record in managing macOS and/or Windows endpoint management within a mid-to-large fleet, covering baseline configurations, software distribution, and patch management.

• Familiarity with at least one scripting language (Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar) and a comfort level with REST APIs and JSON.

• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, distributed environment.
