Senior Information Security Analyst – Data Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Analyze Information Security data from various sources, identifying patterns, trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Develop analyses, indicators, metrics, and management views to monitor the progression of Information Security.

• Leverage Artificial Intelligence, analytics, and automation to enhance analysis, information correlation, and insight generation.

• Convert technical data, risks, and security information into objective recommendations for prioritization and decision-making.

• Correlate information regarding risks, exposures, controls, maturity, and strategic development.

• Create dashboards, analyses, and data-driven narratives for technical, executive, and business stakeholders.

• Identify trends, deviations, and relevant signals, contributing to preventive and predictive measures.

• Suggest use cases for data, analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and automation.

• Experiment with new technologies and analytical methods, assessing their applicability.

• Support the enhancement of Information Security governance and strategy.

• Contribute to models that assess Information Security maturity, performance, and effectiveness.

• Ensure the quality, consistency, traceability, and reliability of information.

• Implement security, privacy, and governance best practices when engaging with data and AI.

• Collaborate with teams in Information Security, Technology, Data, and business sectors.

• Communicate results, analyses, and recommendations clearly and objectively.

• Work collaboratively, proactively, and independently to identify areas for improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience in analyzing and interpreting data, transforming information from diverse sources into indicators, insights, and recommendations for decision-making.

• Familiarity with Information Security, risks, controls, and/or governance.

• Understanding of Artificial Intelligence, including practical applications of generative AI and other AI solutions for analysis, automation, and insight generation.

• Experience in constructing and analyzing indicators, metrics, dashboards, and data visualizations.

• Ability to correlate various data sources and identify patterns, trends, deviations, and opportunities for enhancement.

• Skill in translating technical information and complex analyses into clear recommendations for technical, executive, and business audiences.

• An analytical, curious, and proactive mindset, with the independence to explore data, formulate hypotheses, challenge patterns, and propose solutions.

• Capability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary environments.

• Experience with Business Intelligence and data visualization tools, such as Power BI or equivalent platforms, is a plus.

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other technologies for querying, processing, analyzing, and automating data is a plus.

• Practical experience with generative AI, LLMs, copilots, or AI agents is a plus.

• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, data security, and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence is a plus.

• Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO/IEC 27001, and CIS Controls is a plus.

• Experience with risk management, maturity models, security indicators, or strategic objectives is a plus.

• Experience working in environments with large volumes and diverse types of information is a plus.

• Continuous interest and commitment to staying updated with Information Security, Artificial Intelligence, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies is a plus.
