Information Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Administer and oversee the security infrastructure and associated toolsets.

• Collect and document security requirements to support enterprise security initiatives.

• Implement information security management procedures, which include threat intelligence, metrics collection, reporting, and investigation.

• Analyze security alerts, incidents, and requests; determine root causes and execute suitable resolution steps.

• Escalate security incidents and issues as necessary and monitor them until resolution.

• Conduct threat hunting using available security tools, indicators, and intelligence.

• Foster and maintain relationships across internal and external teams to resolve issues and provide information security services.

• Manage and inventory information security assets.

• Draft, review, and revise operating procedures and reports.

• Carry out other related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of information security certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CompTIA Security+.

• Experience with intrusion prevention systems (IPS), vulnerability scanning and management, system hardening, security standards, data loss prevention (DLP) solutions, and endpoint detection and response (EDR).

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

• Prior experience with root cause analysis and security incident response.

• Strong analytical skills and investigative capabilities.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an information security role, demonstrating progressive experience in operating, supporting, and troubleshooting enterprise security solutions.

• Experience operating at least two of the following: DNS-based protections, email filtering and security, web proxies, anti-virus, threat hunting, or log review/investigation.
