Senior Industry Product Advisor – AEC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Design and implement a future-oriented roadmap for AI-driven AEC capabilities within Unanet’s GrowthStudio product.

• Act as a subject matter expert in the AEC industry within the Product team.

• Oversee product discovery, framing, and prioritization for AI-enabled workflows and customer experiences.

• Convert AEC workflows, customer requirements, and market insights into product specifications, prototypes, and release strategies.

• Utilize internal AI tools throughout the product lifecycle.

• Collaborate with UX and Engineering teams to develop agentic workflows and validated prototypes.

• Establish success metrics, evaluation methods, and feedback mechanisms for LLM- and agent-driven experiences.

• Engage with customers and industry stakeholders to validate challenges and refine product strategies.

• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, including Engineering and Marketing teams.

• Monitor competitive and market trends in AEC to guide roadmap and positioning.

• Contribute to the evolution of Product practices within an AI-focused organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive and demonstrable expertise in the AEC industry gained through significant experience working with or supporting architecture, engineering, and/or construction organizations.

• Ability to convert intricate AEC workflows and customer challenges into product opportunities, specifications, prototypes, and scalable software capabilities.

• Experience with AI-driven products or technologies, including LLMs, agentic workflows, AI-assisted experiences, or related technologies.

• Strong analytical skills and product judgment.

• Capacity to collaborate with teams across Product, Engineering, UX, Marketing, and customer-facing areas.

• Proficient in navigating technical architecture, data models, information retrieval systems, and product evaluation frameworks.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Awareness of responsible AI principles, such as fairness, transparency, and accountability.

• Self-motivated, collaborative, and focused on execution, with a proven history of delivering high-quality solutions.

• Willingness and ability to travel to customer and non-customer locations (~15%).

• Proven track record of translating firsthand AEC industry insights into software solutions, digital transformation efforts, or delivered product features.

• Practical experience with agentic workflows, prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, and AI-assisted product development using tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Glean, Replit, and MCP-enabled workflows.

• Experience with ERP, CRM, proposal management, project management, or other record systems utilized within AEC firms.

• Robust understanding of AEC proposal development and pursuit processes, project-based operations, and supporting systems and data.
