This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with the Industrial Sales team to enhance revenue growth in industrial and hazardous waste sales.
• Deliver customer service and support to both internal and external clients.
• Advise existing and potential clients on their transportation and disposal options.
• Aid customers in understanding testing parameters and completing profiles, manifests, and necessary forms.
• Manage the processing of profiles, contracts, and credit requests.
• Organize pickups and address billing inquiries along with customer concerns.
• Create economic, practical, and tailored solutions and proposals for customers.
• Foster and maintain customer relationships through effective account management and retention strategies.
• Identify new opportunities within waste streams and pursue them via correspondence, emails, and phone calls.
• Generate leads for account managers and program managers utilizing WM sales management tools.
• Analyze inbound customer calls to determine the best approaches for closing sales.
• Support account managers with issues related to receivables and collections.
• Delegate tasks such as data entry, manifest preparation, filing, and administrative duties to Industrial Sales Coordinators.
• Provide training and mentorship to Technical Service Representatives and Industrial Sales Coordinators.
• Organize and conduct training sessions for employees not part of the TSC.
• Oversee the Technical Service Center in the absence of the TSM.
• Monitor real-time handling performance and address any service delivery challenges.
• Lead team huddles and meetings effectively.
• Act as the subject matter expert on the floor.
• Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 3 years of industry experience, in addition to the educational requirements.
• Relevant regulatory training is necessary.
• Previous experience as a West Coast Industrial Technical Services Representative at WM is highly desirable.
• Flexibility to work Pacific Time hours based on business needs.
• Must possess, or be willing to acquire, a REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative if needed for air travel or access to federal properties.
