This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee incident response initiatives

• Create and implement innovative strategies to identify malicious actors within extensive data sets

• Carry out intrusion investigations under the guidance of external legal counsel

• Conduct forensics on hosts and/or networks across Windows, Mac, and Linux systems

• Execute fundamental malware analysis

• Generate written and oral reports, presentations, recommendations, and findings for customer management, regulatory bodies, and legal representatives

• Exhibit industry leadership through blog contributions, CrowdCasts, and public speaking engagements


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in one or more areas: team leadership within a matrixed consulting framework; incident response investigations; computer forensic analysis; network forensic analysis; reverse engineering; incident remediation; network operations and architecture/engineering; cloud incident response; client and internal team communications

• Capability to execute technical tasks independently

• Enthusiasm for developing and enhancing both technical and interpersonal skills

• Strong abilities in project management

• Recognized thought leader in the incident response sector

• Ability to cultivate a positive workplace atmosphere and attitude

• Willingness to travel on short notice, up to 30% of the time

• Demonstrated experience utilizing AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, enhance efficiency, and drive business results

• BA or BS / MA or MS degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, information security, intelligence studies, or cybersecurity, or a related discipline

• Candidates without a degree but possessing relevant work experience and/or training will be considered

• Must have legal authorization to work in Canada

• Subject to background checks, including criminal history, credit, and/or reference verifications
