Senior Implementation Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and oversee the entire implementation process for new CyberMaxx clients, starting from the kickoff phase to the go-live stage and the transition into steady-state operations.

• Create project plans, establish timelines, and develop resource schedules; identify risks, dependencies, and changes in scope while driving mitigation strategies.

• Act as the main point of contact for customers during the onboarding process and foster relationships with both technical and executive stakeholders.

• Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Security Operations, and Customer Success teams to define and implement technical requirements, integrations, and data sources.

• Facilitate project status meetings, provide updates to the steering committee, and conduct executive business reviews.

• Oversee multiple simultaneous implementations across a range of customer projects of different sizes and complexities.

• Enhance and standardize the implementation methodology, tools, and documentation.

• Monitor implementation metrics such as time-to-value, milestone adherence, and customer satisfaction; escalate any identified risks.

• Ensure a well-documented transition from implementation to MDR operations and Customer Success teams.

• Maintain a solid understanding of CyberMaxx’s MDR platform, security services, and industry best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of project management experience, with substantial expertise in leading technical implementations, onboarding, or professional services engagements.

• Prior experience in cybersecurity, managed security services, SaaS, or another technical services field is highly preferred.

• Capability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently, prioritizing effectively under tight deadlines.

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present to both executive and technical audiences.

• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.

• Proficient in standard project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar platforms.

• Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.

• A high level of ownership, humility, and a customer-first approach.

• PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or a comparable project management certification is preferred.

• Familiarity with SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, or other essential security technologies and integrations is preferred.

• Experience in an MDR, MSSP, or similar security operations environment is preferred.

• A Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
