This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee comprehensive implementations for Epic and other EMR-based clients, guiding them from the initial kickoff to go-live and interface activation.
• Function as the main technical liaison for CMIOs, Epic Analysts, interface engineers, and various IT leaders.
• Develop and configure integrations utilizing HL7 v2/v3, FHIR, Interconnect VPN, and associated technologies.
• Resolve intricate onboarding challenges with support from Product and Engineering teams.
• Keep project plans updated and deliver clear status reports to stakeholders.
• Create and sustain reusable templates, runbooks, and automation scripts.
• Communicate field insights to Product, R&D, and Medical teams to aid in strategic roadmap decisions.
• Assist in pre-sale activities by guiding health system clients on integration feasibility, scope, and technical prerequisites.
• Foster knowledge-sharing and the adoption of best practices across Navina teams concerning health system integrations and Epic implementations.
• Act as the senior technical representative during customer onboarding and oversee the entire implementation lifecycle.
• Work closely with Product, R&D, and Customer Success teams.
• Guide clients through complex integrations to ensure smooth go-live processes.
• Minimum of 5 years in technical implementation, integration engineering, or customer onboarding specifically for healthcare SaaS, consulting, or EHR vendors.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Epic, including knowledge of Epic architecture, integration points, configuration workflows, user access controls, FHIR API enablement, and SMART on FHIR/OAuth2 setup.
• Proficient in SQL at an advanced level.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to create timelines, manage risks, and meet deliverables on schedule.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to translate complex technical information for both C-suite executives and frontline analysts.
• Strong executive presence.
• Capability to represent Navina in customer steering committees and governance meetings throughout the implementation process.
• Solid understanding of U.S. healthcare data standards.
• Epic certification(s) is a preferred qualification.
• Previous experience in a high-growth startup environment is a preferred qualification.
• Familiarity with integrating other EHR systems such as eCW, Athenahealth, and Veradigm is a preferred qualification.
• Programming or scripting skills in Python or JavaScript/Node.js is a preferred qualification.
