Business Implementation Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive implementation projects within 3PL or contract logistics settings.

• Manage new customer and site initiations as well as automation integrations into operational environments.

• Create project plans that encompass timelines, milestones, resource distribution, and risk management strategies.

• Track progress, troubleshoot issues, and eliminate obstacles involving cross-functional teams.

• Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.

• Coordinate with vendors and oversee execution sequencing during installation, commissioning, and launch phases.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

• Control scope, timelines, expectations, and delivery results.

• Lead project status meetings and communicate progress, risks, and opportunities.

• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, IT, and Solution Design teams to ensure operational readiness.

• Assist in designing operations and defining processes for start-ups and retrofits.

• Ensure that handover outcomes meet service levels, capacity needs, and performance objectives.

• Oversee project budgets while delivering financial reporting and analysis to senior management.

• Identify opportunities for cost and risk reduction.

• Direct and influence cross-functional project teams within a matrix environment.

• Ensure proper resource allocation and coordination throughout project phases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline.

• At least 7 years of experience in project or program management within logistics, supply chain, or industrial contexts.

• Proven experience in leading warehouse automation implementation projects in a 3PL or contract logistics setting.

• Background in capital deployments of robotics, conveyor, and material handling systems for new customer/site initiations or brownfield facilities.

• Responsibilities include execution coordination, commissioning, and go-live, particularly with WMS integration.

• Hands-on experience in managing complex implementation projects under tight deadlines with multiple stakeholders.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Experience in budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools such as MS Project and Smartsheet.

• Ability to modify plans and strategies according to project demands or unexpected challenges.

• Capability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.

• Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and operational needs.
