Senior Illustrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.

📋 Description

• Develop original artwork for Moniepoint products.

• Collaborate as a member of the User Experience, digital, and creative team.

• Analyze complex briefs to create inspiring artwork that resonates with the target audience.

• Generate concepts and produce draft illustrations based on written descriptions, models, sketches, and creative imagination.

• Convert concepts into visually appealing and marketable images.

• Prepare initial draft illustrations in accordance with requirements and company guidelines.

• Create comprehensive illustrations and enhance design concepts utilizing colors, graphics, effects, and illustration software.

• Implement isometric techniques to provide perspective to intricate visual shapes.

• Ensure that digital illustrations comply with high-quality and color standards.

• Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm creative ideas, patterns, visual styles, and concepts.

• Keep abreast of new design techniques, industry trends, and graphics software developments.

• Transform abstract product concepts into captivating, marketable visual assets across various touchpoints.

• Maintain consistency in brand aesthetics and technical alignment throughout digital art and user experiences.

• Work alongside design teams to enhance Moniepoint's visual language and illustration standards.

• Provide high-quality illustrations consistently and punctually for complex cross-functional briefs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in fine arts, design, visual arts, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 4-5 years of demonstrated experience as an Illustrator, Graphic Designer, or in a comparable visual design position.

• A robust portfolio showcasing a diverse array of completed illustrations.

• Proven hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software.

• Advanced skills in drawing, painting, and digital artwork rendering.

• Extensive knowledge of image editing and design tools, particularly Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

• Strong conceptual thinking coupled with artistic problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to effectively manage time, perform under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
