This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Oversee and address employee inquiries regarding HR topics, HR policies, and navigation of the HRIS system.
• Revise employee records within the HRIS system, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Offer daily coaching to leadership on various matters, including employee relations, conflict resolution, policy interpretation and application, as well as talent management and development.
• Maintain and refresh employee records and HR files with precise, timely, and confidential documentation concerning employee relations cases, in alignment with internal policies and legal mandates.
• Investigate and analyze employee trends to identify strategies for boosting employee retention and engagement.
• Keep a thorough understanding of current legal standards, including federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and best practices, ensuring compliance while minimizing risks related to daily employee management.
• Cultivate a deep understanding of the company’s products and services, structure, roles, compensation, promotional and disciplinary practices, and HR processes.
• Analyze trends, metrics, and reports in collaboration with HR peers to devise solutions, programs, and policies, and make recommendations. Employ Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, charts & graphs) to gather, organize, and summarize data.
• Manage documentation and compile reports related to employee activities such as training, performance evaluations, employee changes, and terminations.
• Conduct analysis of reports and data, utilizing the information to create and present findings to leadership.
• Actively engage in the creation and implementation of Human Resources policies and procedures.
• Participate actively in Learning and Development initiatives and programs.
• Involve in the introductory and annual performance review process.
• Engage with government reporting requirements.
• Provide timely and precise responses to unemployment claims, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Use, protect, and disclose patients' protected health information (PHI) strictly in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
• Always understand and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Limit access to PHI to the absolute minimum necessary to perform assigned duties.
• A Bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, or a business-related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, demonstrating a solid understanding of HR procedures.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem-solving and creative abilities, with a capacity to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
• High integrity and dependability, characterized by a strong sense of urgency and results-oriented mindset.
