• Oversee the administration of various human resource plans and procedures for all personnel within the organization.
• Assist in formulating and executing personnel policies and procedures.
• Prepare and keep the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual updated.
• Engage in the development of departmental goals, objectives, and systems.
• Manage the compensation program; oversee the performance evaluation program and make revisions as needed.
• Conduct benefits administration, which includes resolving claims, reporting changes, and communicating benefits information to employees.
• Facilitate New Hire Orientations to create a positive initial impression of the company.
• Oversee Onboarding/Offboarding processes, ensuring timely approval of benefit notifications within the payroll system.
• Maintain a prompt flow of EAF changes within the payroll system by responding to approval notifications.
• Ensure that job descriptions are updated for title changes and that salary reviews align with established ranges.
• Provide guidance and interpretation of HR policies in accordance with the company handbook and relevant laws.
• Bachelor's degree in human resources management, organizational development, or a related area.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred.
• 4-5 years of experience in a human resources role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of principles and procedures related to recruitment, employee relations, training, compensation, and benefits.
• Proficiency with, or the ability to quickly learn, the organization’s HRIS, including the talent management system.
• Capable of effectively communicating both orally and in writing with colleagues.
• Excellent oral, written communication, and listening abilities.
• Working knowledge of employment laws (ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, workers' compensation, ADA, and other workplace regulations).
• Strong computer skills with expertise in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional interpersonal and coaching capabilities.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
