This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Act as the main HR Business Partner for specified business units throughout the United States and Canada.
β’ Offer strategic HR advice to leaders and management teams.
β’ Collaborate on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent strategies.
β’ Mentor leaders on effective leadership, team development, and organizational challenges.
β’ Provide insights on U.S. and Canadian employment laws to ensure compliance.
β’ Lead and assist with employee relations issues, workplace investigations, performance management, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and terminations.
β’ Work in conjunction with Legal and HR leadership on intricate employee matters.
β’ Collaborate on compensation planning, market benchmarking, merit increases, promotions, and organizational changes.
β’ Support performance evaluations, compensation planning, employee engagement initiatives, and talent reviews.
β’ Drive HR initiatives that support restructuring, integration, acquisitions, and business transformation projects.
β’ Analyze workforce metrics and HR data, providing actionable recommendations.
β’ Partner with Payroll, Legal, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, and business leaders.
β’ Assist in enterprise-wide HR initiatives and enhance HR programs, policies, and best practices across North America.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related area, or a comparable mix of education and experience.
β’ Over 7 years of progressive Human Resources Business Partner experience supporting both U.S. and Canadian employee populations.
β’ In-depth knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and U.S. federal and state employment laws.
β’ Proven experience managing complex employee relations issues, workplace investigations, and performance management.
β’ Experience collaborating with senior business leaders in a strategic advisory role.
β’ Strong analytical capabilities utilizing workforce data and HR metrics.
β’ Exceptional communication, consulting, coaching, and influencing abilities.
β’ Capacity to handle sensitive and confidential matters with sound judgment and professionalism.
β’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, and globally distributed organization.
β’ Located in Canada with the flexibility to support U.S. business hours as necessary.
β’ Preferred: experience in a global, multinational, or post-merger environment.
β’ Preferred: experience in leading organizational change and business transformation projects.
β’ Preferred: familiarity with HRIS platforms and workforce analytics tools.
