This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Offer daily support to divisional leadership and team members regarding employee relations, enhancing leadership effectiveness, shaping the employee experience, onboarding, performance management initiatives, terminations, and interpreting, improving, and implementing policies.
• Collaborate with divisional leaders and managers to create or modify job descriptions that reflect the organization's current needs.
• Conduct proactive audits of current job descriptions to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational changes.
• Provide performance management advice to divisional leaders and managers (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions).
• Work closely with leaders and team members to enhance work relationships, boost morale, and improve productivity and retention.
• Partner with leaders and managers to identify business requirements and develop customized HR strategies to address those needs.
• Oversee employee relations investigations for respective divisions, managing documentation while upholding confidentiality and efficiently resolving conflicts.
• Direct performance and talent development initiatives for assigned divisions, contributing to training delivery and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Regularly assess training programs to ensure they are effective and relevant.
• Leverage exit surveys through technology to analyze trend results and propose solutions for enhancing programs and policies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Communications, or Psychology.
• HR Certification (SHRM or HRCI).
• Required experience in California Credentialing and the mortgage industry.
• 6 years of experience in Human Resources, including at least 2 years as an HR Business Partner.
• Experience in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic business environment.
• Familiarity with compensation practices, employee relations, performance management, and applicable federal and state employment laws.
• Strong knowledge of HR systems (e.g., HR information systems, applicant tracking systems, and talent management systems).
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
