This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
β’ Oversee federal workforce planning and staffing by managing hiring activities and supervising workforce management efforts.
β’ Direct and mentor workforce specialists in areas such as workforce planning, position descriptions, personnel requests, workforce reporting, and process enhancements.
β’ Utilize centralized and peripheral databases, as well as content and records management systems, to optimize workflows and processes.
β’ Act as a liaison between government cybersecurity hiring managers and the Office of Human Capital.
β’ Generate and track personnel requests and Personnel Action Requests across various organizations and divisions.
β’ Develop position descriptions that comply with federal standards and correspond with the appropriate grade and security level.
β’ Handle system change requests prior to the execution of hiring actions.
β’ Manage organizational chart updates, billet realignment, and fiscal-year billet allocations.
β’ Conduct qualification reviews, manage career ladder promotions, and oversee recruitment incentive requests.
β’ Facilitate workforce planning, staffing, recruitment, onboarding, retention, employee engagement, communications, and organizational development initiatives.
β’ Coordinate hiring actions, position descriptions, vacancy announcements, interviews, and candidate tracking processes.
β’ Maintain staffing plans, billet inventories, organizational charts, and Table of Organization data.
β’ Monitor personnel actions, vacancies, hiring metrics, and overall staffing progress.
β’ Organize employee training, certifications, professional development, and workforce readiness programs.
β’ Create workforce reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
β’ Evaluate workforce trends and propose strategies for addressing skill gaps, succession planning, and talent management.
β’ Collaborate with human capital offices, contractors, and government stakeholders.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
β’ 10 to 12 years of experience in a relevant area.
β’ Strong coordination abilities to support interactions between senior government managers and the Human Capital office.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating documents, delivering briefings, and facilitating discussions.
β’ High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
β’ Experience utilizing SharePoint and Teams for process development support.
β’ Strong skills in process development with the capability to articulate and visualize multi-stakeholder processes.
β’ DHS Suitability is required.
