• Collaborate closely with senior leaders throughout the organization as a trusted advisor, assisting in the development and expansion of a growing People Operations function.
• Address intricate people-related challenges, devise practical solutions, and translate strategy into actionable plans.
• Oversee and enhance our People Ops infrastructure, policies, and practices—including global mobility, visas, and immigration matters.
• Ensure that these elements are robust, compliant, scalable, and fundamentally human-centric.
• This is a hands-on role suited for someone who excels in dynamic environments.
• Adopt a strategic approach to problem-solving and take pleasure in creating systems that empower individuals and the organization to excel.
• Reporting directly to the Senior Director, you will play a vital role in scaling the function—enhancing operational excellence, influencing leaders, and contributing to our collective growth and success.
• Extensive expertise in core HR disciplines, with a solid foundation in UK employment law, policies, and compliance.
• Practical experience managing UK employment compliance frameworks and immigration sponsorship responsibilities (e.g., management of Skilled Worker licenses).
• Experience in organizations undergoing significant scaling (e.g., growing from 20 to 300 or 20 to over 400).
• Strong background in compensation strategy and benchmarking to ensure market competitiveness, internal equity, and transparent pay structures.
• Proven track record in leading and advising on complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary processes, grievances, performance management (PIPs), and terminations, with sound judgment and a strong compliance perspective.

• Experience in consulting, construction, engineering, or similar project-based sectors.
• Experience supporting global mobility, international hires, or cross-border employment models (EORs, sponsorships, relocations) in rapidly growing contexts.
• Confidence in influencing senior stakeholders and simplifying complex topics for presentation.
• Experience serving as a trusted advisor to founders or executive teams.
• A proven ability to build people functions that scale while maintaining a focus on humanity.
