This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +7 more states.
β’ Assist in managing all Human Resources (HR) functions for a designated group (such as site, region, etc.).
β’ Focus on employee relations, engagement, and retention while enhancing efficiencies and customer service.
β’ Organize, train, and oversee HR programs, processes, activities, and policies.
β’ Engage in and implement HR programs in collaboration with corporate initiatives related to leadership development, compensation, benefits, compliance, employee relations, training, and health and safety.
β’ Provide guidance to a designated group on a range of topics.
β’ Ensure adherence to state and federal employment laws, along with corporate HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
β’ Assist in the execution of employee relations initiatives.
β’ Help management identify issues and recommend solutions to enhance job satisfaction, reduce turnover, and improve employee morale.
β’ Oversee the accurate and timely maintenance of employment records.
β’ May deliver comprehensive employee benefits orientation and enrollment for new hires, as well as management training for new management personnel.
β’ Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal employment regulations.
β’ Respond to and assist with thorough and impartial investigations and resolutions of reported incidents.
β’ Provide coaching and guidance to first-line managers to enhance and develop their leadership capabilities.
β’ Actively identify areas where additional training can enhance the management team's competencies and employees' understanding of company benefits.
β’ Anticipate future employment needs and challenges by analyzing historical data, employment trends, and being aware of the local/regional employment landscape.
β’ Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
β’ Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Human Resources.
β’ Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and/or experience is acceptable.
β’ Experience with ADP WorkforceNow and Vantage is preferred.
β’ Multi-state experience is preferred (currently operating in NJ, NY, CT, PA, FL, WV, and MA).
β’ Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a strong ability to meet deadlines.
β’ Solid understanding of local, state, and federal laws, including FMLA, FLSA, OSHA, ADA, and wage and hour regulations.
β’ Strong conflict resolution and mediation abilities.
β’ Excellent interpersonal skills, time management capabilities, and adaptability to change.
β’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, embracing and facilitating change while solving problems.
β’ Customer-oriented with the highest level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
β’ Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
β’ Proven capability to manage multiple tasks effectively and demonstrate flexibility.

β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
