This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
β’ Oversee and manage the comprehensive process of employee exits across various international jurisdictions.
β’ Provide guidance to clients regarding termination, resignation, transfer, employment contracts, and redundancy protocols.
β’ Facilitate meetings with clients and external employees, including consultations on workforce reductions, hearings, negotiations for separation and settlement, and meetings on termination outcomes.
β’ Negotiate and influence favorable results in complex termination scenarios.
β’ Collaborate with payroll, legal advisors, government institutions, trade unions, and other relevant stakeholders.
β’ Draft, customize, and manage termination and supplementary documents while ensuring the confidentiality of employee records.
β’ Execute offboarding procedures in Remoteβs internal HRIS platform alongside cross-functional teams.
β’ Act as a subject-matter expert in offboarding issues.
β’ Guide clients through Employee Relations resources, policies, and procedures.
β’ Conduct initial assessments of workplace issues and pinpoint relevant regulations.
β’ Oversee the management of employee relations cases and keep track of them for prompt follow-up.
β’ Assist clients with progressive disciplinary measures and the associated documentation.
β’ Identify opportunities and contribute to process enhancements, automation, product development, and initiatives aimed at improving customer and employee experiences.
β’ Report directly to the Manager of Employee Lifecycle, Employee Relations & Transitions.
β’ Proven experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with general HR competencies across the employee lifecycle.
β’ Significant experience managing voluntary and involuntary exits with empathy, sensitivity, and adherence to legal standards.
β’ Proficient in providing HR advice on employment laws and regulations across diverse jurisdictions.
β’ Capability to interpret and apply industrial instruments, analyze complex HR challenges, conduct research, and offer practical solutions.
β’ Basic knowledge of employee relations principles, progressive discipline, and workplace investigations.
β’ Exceptional communication, influencing, conflict resolution, and negotiation abilities.
β’ Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English at a business level.
β’ Strong inclination towards innovation, process optimization, automation, and best practices.
β’ Commitment to operational efficiency, meticulous record-keeping, and data integrity.
β’ Tech-savvy and adaptable to changing systems and asynchronous collaboration tools.
β’ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international, remote environment.

β’ Strong capabilities in automation and fluency in AI technologies.
