This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +4 more states.
β’ Transform succession data, readiness metrics, and risk indicators into a strategic leadership bench plan.
β’ Suggest initiatives for acceleration, development, talent transitions, or executive recruitment actions.
β’ Recognize leadership deficiencies, potential flight risks, vulnerable bench areas, and critical single points of failure.
β’ Rigorously assess succession plans and question readiness assumptions and timelines.
β’ Collaborate with Executive Talent Acquisition and Executive Recruiting on strategic workforce planning and vital leadership searches.
β’ Analyze the internal talent pool against the external job market availability.
β’ Oversee the rhythm of talent brokering and connections with Executive Talent Acquisition and Executive Compensation.
β’ Assist with intricate leadership scenarios, including executive underperformance, discordant leadership teams, key vacancies, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational restructuring.
β’ Create tailored interventions such as focused coaching, interim leadership frameworks, and team effectiveness assessments.
β’ Formulate HR recommendations and viewpoints for critical decisions in collaboration with business leaders.
β’ Lead talent calibration or review meetings.
β’ Develop materials and talking points for executive and Board-level discussions.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in HR/talent management.
β’ A minimum of 4-5 years specifically dedicated to executive talent management, organizational effectiveness, or leadership strategy within a large, complex organization.
β’ Proven experience in advising or supporting high-stakes leadership decisions involving senior executives (SVP+).
β’ Capability to critically assess succession plans and translate them into strategic narratives for the leadership bench.
β’ Comfort with operating independently, without a predefined script or established framework.
β’ Exceptional executive presence and strong written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Proficient in preparing materials and talking points appropriate for CHRO- or Board-level evaluations.
β’ Experience in supporting global or multi-regional talent initiatives.
β’ Proven ability to facilitate talent calibration or review sessions.
β’ Skill in partnering effectively with process owners while avoiding redundancy or over-reliance on their work.
β’ Experience in a global or matrixed organization is highly preferred.
β’ Familiarity with workforce analytics or HR reporting tools is advantageous.
β’ A background in organizational development or workforce planning is preferred.
