This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
β’ Oversee and resolve the complete cycle of employee exits across various international jurisdictions.
β’ Provide guidance to clients on termination, resignation, transfers, employment contracts, and redundancy procedures.
β’ Facilitate consultations on workforce reductions, administrative hearings, separation and settlement negotiations, and termination meetings.
β’ Negotiate and influence outcomes in intricate termination situations.
β’ Collaborate with payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, trade unions, and other relevant stakeholders.
β’ Draft, customize, and manage termination and supplementary documentation.
β’ Navigate offboarding processes within Remoteβs internal HRIS platform.
β’ Act as a subject-matter expert on offboarding issues and respond to inquiries.
β’ Assist clients with Employee Relations resources, policies, and procedures.
β’ Perform initial assessments of workplace issues and pinpoint applicable regulations.
β’ Oversee the management of employee relations matters and track ongoing cases.
β’ Promote progressive disciplinary methods and maintain proper documentation.
β’ Recognize and contribute to enhancements in processes, automation, product development, and initiatives aimed at improving customer and employee experiences.
β’ Proven experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with comprehensive HR knowledge spanning the employee lifecycle.
β’ Significant experience handling voluntary and involuntary exits with empathy, sensitivity, and adherence to legal standards.
β’ Proficient in providing HR support regarding employment laws and regulations across diverse jurisdictions.
β’ Capability to interpret and apply industrial instruments, evaluate complex HR challenges, conduct research, and offer practical solutions.
β’ Fundamental understanding of employee relations principles, progressive discipline, and workplace investigations.
β’ Exceptional communication, persuasion, conflict management, and negotiation abilities.
β’ Business-level (advanced) proficiency in both written and spoken English.
β’ Strong inclination towards process innovation, optimization, automation, and best practices.
β’ Operationally efficient with meticulous record-keeping and data integrity.
β’ Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to changing systems and asynchronous collaboration tools.
β’ Capability to work independently in a fast-paced, international, asynchronous, remote setting.
β’ Willingness to accommodate flexible working hours as required.
β’ Robust skills in automation and AI, along with fluency in AI technologies.
