This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
β’ Take charge of managing and resolving intricate employee exits across various international jurisdictions independently.
β’ Provide guidance to clients regarding termination, resignation, transfer procedures, employment contracts, and redundancy processes.
β’ Facilitate meetings with clients and external employees, which include workforce reduction consultations, administrative hearings, separation negotiations, settlements, and termination outcomes.
β’ Negotiate and influence favorable results in complex termination situations.
β’ Collaborate with payroll, legal counsel, government agencies, trade unions, and other relevant stakeholders.
β’ Create, customize, and manage termination and supplementary documents while ensuring accurate and confidential record-keeping.
β’ Oversee offboarding processes in Remoteβs internal HRIS and coordinate with Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Attendance teams.
β’ Offer informal escalation support, mentoring, and guidance to junior team members.
β’ Provide first-level Employee Relations advice and conduct initial assessments of workplace issues.
β’ Assist clients with progressive discipline, documentation requirements, and challenging workplace situations.
β’ Monitor and track employee relations cases, ensuring timely follow-up actions.
β’ Address inquiries related to offboarding and first-level employee relations matters.
β’ Propel process enhancements, automation, product development, and initiatives aimed at improving customer and employee experiences.
β’ Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner, demonstrating generalist HR competencies and exposure to the employee lifecycle.
β’ Proven ability to manage voluntary and involuntary employee exits independently, with a focus on care, sensitivity, and legal compliance.
β’ In-depth understanding of employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
β’ Familiarity with employee relations principles, progressive discipline techniques, and fundamentals of workplace investigations.
β’ Competence in interpreting and applying industrial instruments.
β’ Skill in analyzing complex HR problems, researching solutions, and translating findings into practical resources for the team.
β’ Excellent problem-solving, communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation capabilities.
β’ Capacity to independently conduct difficult conversations while upholding professionalism and strict confidentiality.
β’ Proficiency in business-level (advanced) written and spoken English.
β’ Strong inclination towards process innovation, optimization, automation, and implementing best practices.
β’ Awareness of operational efficiency, record-keeping, and data integrity.
β’ Tech-savvy with the ability to collaborate asynchronously using evolving systems.
β’ Capability to work autonomously and cohesively in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote international environment.
