This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
β’ Oversee and resolve intricate employee exits from start to finish across various international jurisdictions.
β’ Offer expert advice on matters related to termination, resignation, transfers, employment contracts, redundancy processes, and additional HR concerns.
β’ Facilitate meetings with clients and external employees, which include workforce reduction consultations, administrative hearings, separation negotiations, settlements, and termination outcomes.
β’ Influence and negotiate favorable results in complex termination scenarios.
β’ Collaborate with payroll, legal advisors, government agencies, trade unions, and internal stakeholders.
β’ Prepare, customize, and manage termination and supplementary documentation.
β’ Execute offboarding through Remoteβs internal HRIS system.
β’ Serve as an informal escalation point and mentor for junior team members.
β’ Provide guidance on Employee Relations resources and intricate workplace situations.
β’ Conduct initial assessments of workplace concerns and identify relevant regulations and pathways forward.
β’ Advise clients on progressive discipline, documentation requirements, and challenging workplace situations.
β’ Monitor and track employee relations cases.
β’ Address offboarding and first-level employee relations inquiries.
β’ Identify and champion process enhancements, automation, product development, and improvements in customer and employee experiences.
β’ Establish methods, procedures, and standards for new tasks.
β’ Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with a broad range of HR skills across the employee lifecycle.
β’ Tertiary qualifications in HR, labor relations, or employment law are considered advantageous.
β’ Demonstrated experience in independently managing both voluntary and involuntary exits with care, sensitivity, and adherence to legal standards.
β’ Extensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations in various jurisdictions.
β’ Familiarity with employee relations principles, progressive discipline strategies, and the fundamentals of workplace investigations.
β’ Capability to interpret and apply industrial instruments.
β’ Proficiency in analyzing complex HR challenges, researching solutions, and translating findings into practical team resources.
β’ Aptitude to communicate recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders in ambiguous and unfamiliar settings.
β’ Exceptional skills in communication, influence, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
β’ Ability to independently navigate challenging conversations toward positive outcomes.
β’ Commitment to strict confidentiality and professionalism.
β’ Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English at a business level.
β’ Strong inclination for process innovation, optimization, automation, and implementing best practices.
β’ Diligent record-keeping and awareness of data integrity.
β’ Technologically proficient and able to collaborate asynchronously using diverse tools while adapting to evolving systems.
β’ Capacity to work independently in an international, fast-paced, asynchronous remote environment.
β’ Willingness to maintain flexible hours as necessary.
β’ Strong skills in automation, AI capabilities, and fluency in AI applications.
