This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.
β’ Oversee and address intricate employee exits from start to finish across various international jurisdictions.
β’ Provide guidance to clients on processes related to termination, resignation, transfer, employment contracts, and redundancy, ensuring adherence to legal standards and best practices.
β’ Facilitate client and external employee meetings, which include consultations on workforce reductions, administrative hearings, separation and settlement negotiations, and discussions regarding termination outcomes.
β’ Advocate for and negotiate favorable results in complex termination situations while managing stakeholders with conflicting interests.
β’ Collaborate with payroll, legal advisors, government entities, trade unions, and other stakeholders regarding offboarding processes and audits.
β’ Create, customize, and manage termination and supplementary documents while upholding accurate and confidential employee records.
β’ Execute offboarding in Remoteβs internal HRIS platform in partnership with Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, Time and Attendance, and other departments.
β’ Offer informal escalation support, expertise, mentoring, and guidance to junior team members.
β’ Deliver first-level Employee Relations guidance and assist clients in navigating complex workplace situations.
β’ Evaluate workplace issues, ascertain relevant facts and regulations, and propose suitable solutions.
β’ Advise clients on progressive discipline, documentation necessities, and challenging workplace circumstances.
β’ Monitor employee relations cases and ensure timely follow-up.
β’ Act as a subject-matter expert in offboarding and initial employee relations issues.
β’ Propel process enhancements, automation, product innovation, and improved experiences for both customers and employees.
β’ Establish methods, procedures, and standards for new tasks and adapt intricate techniques to achieve desired outcomes.
β’ Report to the Manager of Employee Lifecycle, Employee Relations & Transitions.
β’ Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with a comprehensive understanding of generalist HR competencies and the employee lifecycle.
β’ Demonstrated ability to independently handle voluntary and involuntary exits with empathy, sensitivity, and legal compliance.
β’ Experience providing HR guidance on employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
β’ Knowledge of employee relations principles, progressive discipline strategies, and fundamentals of workplace investigations.
β’ Capability to interpret and apply industrial instruments and analyze intricate HR challenges.
β’ Proficiency in researching issues, transforming findings into practical team resources, and offering actionable recommendations.
β’ Exceptional communication, influencing, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
β’ Ability to independently guide challenging conversations toward positive outcomes while preserving professionalism and strict confidentiality.
β’ Proficient in written and spoken English at a business (advanced) level.
β’ Skillful in process innovation, optimization, automation, and development of best practices.
β’ Strong awareness of operational efficiency, record-keeping, and data integrity.
β’ Tech-savvy with the ability to collaborate asynchronously using various tools and adapt to changing systems.
β’ Capacity to work independently in a fast-paced international remote environment while managing competing priorities.
β’ Willingness to maintain flexible working hours as needed.
β’ Proactive, self-motivated, accountable, and capable of inspiring others.
β’ Strong capabilities in automation and AI fluency.
β’ Tertiary education in HR/labour relations/employment law is advantageous but not mandatory.
