This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
• Collaborate closely with Global HR Business Partners to ensure alignment between business objectives and local employees and management within designated business units.
• Serve as an advisor to managers, implementing specific programs and initiatives that are directly aligned with business strategy in areas such as performance management, recognition, career development, workforce planning, succession planning, talent development, compensation planning, and employee relations.
• These managers may be located in Hungary, the UK, the US, Canada, or other regions within EMEA.
• As a subject matter expert in local employment law, policies, and processes, provide coaching and hands-on support to managers on a wide range of HR topics, ensuring that local culture and legislation are understood and applied while achieving the necessary business results.
• Analyze employee and business trends to identify drivers for change and opportunities for continuous improvement within your business groups.
• Collaborate with broader HR teams (e.g., Talent Acquisition, L&D, Compensation & Benefits, Communications, Legal) to create value-added HR initiatives that support the Company’s values, goals, and cultural behaviors.
• Lead or participate in global and local change programs that are approached thoughtfully and communicated effectively.
• Understand the people plan for your business units, encompassing hiring needs, career progression, gap analysis, and collaborate with Talent Acquisition to facilitate hiring and onboarding.
• Assist in the annual salary review process across your business units, including participation in remuneration panels, making recommendations, and analyzing outcomes in accordance with global processes.
• Enhance the effectiveness of the performance review process by providing coaching and support to managers, aiding them in managing performance issues as well as recognizing their top performers.
• Collaborate with local management, employee groups, and the global HR team to identify, implement, and manage local initiatives in response to the annual Employee Opinion Survey.
• Proactively promote the Company’s values, culture, and behavioral initiatives, including diversity and inclusion, employee recognition, and effective employee engagement activities.
• Facilitate the onboarding of new hires, which includes conducting a Day 1 induction.
• The EMEA region is supported by HR Coordinators located in Hungary and the UK.
• Experience with HR processes, policies, and employment legislation in the UK and Hungary.
• Proven track record as a proactive HR Partner in environments characterized by change.
• Experienced in managing the full employee life cycle and annual cycle HR solutions and practices, including employee relations, performance and talent management, and compensation reviews.
• Capable of supporting change with practical legal and best practice advice to managers and leaders, demonstrating the rationale and value rather than merely reciting policy or law.
• Proven ability to prioritize based on business needs.
• Strong background in delivering results within a complex and fast-paced international work environment.
• Demonstrated skill in influencing and building strong relationships with a variety of roles, management levels, and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to drive initiatives and activities to successful completion.
