This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Norway.
• You will design the people infrastructure that empowers Saga to expand without compromising our unique characteristics.
• You will operate at the intersection of business strategy and human experience, collaborating with the CEO and management team to convert ambitious company objectives into actionable people strategies.
• Develop the HR infrastructure that evolves with Saga: outline our people and culture roadmap, establish our annual people cycles, and formulate performance frameworks that promote growth.
• Collaborate with our leadership team on organizational design, workforce planning, compensation strategy, and people-related decisions that influence the business.
• Establish and enhance the operational foundations: international payroll structures, salary frameworks, role architecture, and the systems that facilitate a remote-first organization across various time zones.
• Oversee core people processes from start to finish: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation cycles, and skills development.
• Handle sensitive situations with empathy and clarity, ranging from performance issues to organizational changes and employee relations matters.
• Significant experience as an HR Business Partner or generalist in a dynamic environment, having established people foundations in international organizations undergoing growth and transformation.
• Proven experience in designing people systems from the ground up; you can evaluate existing frameworks, identify gaps, and create scalable structures.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to navigate competing priorities; you connect people decisions to company outcomes and evaluate trade-offs effectively.
• A practical mindset and a genuine eagerness to learn; you are comfortable utilizing technology and AI in your role.
• The confidence to engage in difficult conversations, address what others may avoid, challenge leadership perspectives, and guide teams through transitions.
• Proficiency in both Norwegian and English, with the ability to adapt your communication style to diverse audiences while preserving warmth and clarity.
• A bachelor's degree in HR, organizational psychology, business, or a related discipline.
