• Lead strategic HR initiatives by collaborating with business units to enhance performance management and career development.
• Utilize employee feedback (through data and personal narratives) to implement effective solutions aimed at improving employee engagement.
• Enable leaders, including executives, to formulate and execute organizational strategies, nurturing a competent and confident leadership team.
• Work closely with leadership to evaluate and positively influence organizational well-being, impacting people and culture throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally within a rapidly growing SaaS or technology-focused company.
• Experience supporting Tech and/or Product-oriented teams within an organization.
• Strong relationship builder with a high emotional intelligence; capable of quickly establishing credibility, influencing management, and resolving conflicts with leaders of varying experiences.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify solutions and their impacts across the organization. Proven subject matter expertise in multiple HR domains.
• Cross-functional collaborator, working with centers of excellence across HR, Finance, and more to drive impact. This includes partnering with HR and Data to analyze trends and metrics or collaborating with the HR team on annual performance reviews and compensation cycles.
• Sound judgment, utilizing business insights alongside a human-centric approach. Able to connect data and narratives from various areas to pinpoint opportunities for increased business impact.
• Proactive in action, execution, and delivery: willing to do what is necessary to complete tasks. Comfortable in ambiguous situations: resourceful and curious even without all the information.
• Demonstrated experience as an HRBP with a broad range of employee relations situations and a strong understanding of current professional processes, trends, and compliance practices in the U.S. and Canada; international experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with and comfort in utilizing HRM data to craft narratives and inform the business of recommendations and opportunities.
• Proficient with HRM tools such as UKG, CultureAmp, Ashby, and Charthop (preferably); adept at quickly learning new tools, systems, and processes while identifying areas for improvement.
• Willingness to leverage and adopt AI tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in advising and decision-making from a data-informed perspective.
• Exceptional listening skills: often praised for your ability to listen and for your effective approach to addressing challenging situations.
• Adaptable communication skills: capable of managing difficult situations and conversations with professionalism and a human touch. Much communication occurs via Slack, so emojis are welcomed 🤗.
• Strong sense of ownership, confidentiality, attention to detail, and a knack for organizing processes with all three in mind.
