Senior HR Advisor – Generation Colombia

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the provision of high-quality, compliant, and responsive HR assistance for Generation Colombia.

• Serve as the primary contact for the payroll provider regarding all HR operational issues on a daily basis.

• Offer first-line HR support to staff in Colombia concerning performance, conduct, probation, absence, grievances, and disciplinary issues.

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of Colombian labor laws to ensure all HR procedures are compliant.

• Confirm that the payroll provider fulfills statutory filings, tax submissions, and SSNIT payments punctually.

• Ensure the prompt preparation of employment contracts and onboarding documents with the assistance of the payroll outsource.

• Keep precise employee records in HRIS and internal databases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as an HR Generalist or HR Officer within Colombia.

• Experience in managing third-party HR vendors, including payroll providers.

• Strong understanding of Colombian labor laws and statutory requirements.

• Proficient in Spanish and advanced in both written and spoken English.

• Previous experience in a mission-driven, non-profit, or multi-country organization is preferred.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Strong organizational skills and capability to handle multiple HR workstreams.

• Analytical mindset with a knack for interpreting data and extracting insights.

• High level of attention to detail, confidentiality, and integrity.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across different geographies and cultures.

• A proactive, “can-do” attitude in a dynamic environment.
