This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Design and create testing systems and protocols for manufacturing processes.
• Develop test plans, cases, and scripts for various components including motherboards, memory, CPUs, storage, and PCIe devices.
• Generate, validate, release, and maintain automated testing software and scripts.
• Manage test equipment, gather and analyze data, and produce test reports.
• Provide support and maintenance for the manufacturing server (L10) and rack (L11) testing software and infrastructure.
• Execute minor system configuration adjustments, which may include new IPNs.
• Keep thorough documentation for L10 and L11 test procedures, specifications, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, manufacturing engineers, and quality assurance teams.
• Stay updated on testing technologies, methods, and industry best practices.
• Define and work together on the overall test infrastructure and application architectures.
• Interface with internal engineering, manufacturing, quality teams, and end customers.
• Travel globally up to 10% as necessary.
• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in software manufacturing test development or sustaining, particularly with enterprise server, storage, or networking products is essential.
• A combination of education, training, and experience will be taken into account.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience with server hardware interaction, validation, and configuration.
• Proficiency in 2–3 core skill areas, with the capability to expand skillset as workload demands.
• Proficient in Python, Java, or BASH; experience with C and C++ is advantageous.
• Expertise in Linux development, including foundational knowledge of CentOS/Ubuntu.
• Proficiency with IPMI, Redfish, mprime, FIO, Linpack, ptugen, memtester, and iperf for managing and stressing L10 devices.
• Experience in creating and configuring VMs using VMware, including DHCP, PXE boot, and nginx.
• Knowledge of enterprise Ethernet datacenter switching/routing and L1, L2, and L3 protocols, such as BGP, DHCP Relay, and ECMP.
• Familiarity with Arista CloudVision is a plus.
• Experience with version control tools; Git is preferred.
• Strong understanding of professional software engineering practices throughout the software development life cycle.
• Willingness to travel globally up to 10%.
• Experience with hyperscale customers is a plus.
• A Master's degree in EE/CE or Computer Science is preferred.
• Experience working in multi-site and multicultural environments is a plus.
