This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist health plans in their commercial employer business through every phase of the sales process.
• Collaborate with designated clients to enhance their overall medical and pharmacy sales strategies.
• Engage with local brokers, consultants, and potential clients.
• Formulate a comprehensive sales strategy in conjunction with sales and pharmacy executives at the health plan client.
• Collect, analyze, and share competitive market intelligence.
• Serve as the primary contact for day-to-day support of overall strategy and initiatives.
• Maintain daily communication with health plan medical, pharmacy, and sales executives.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with brokers and consultants.
• Develop and implement action plans for each business opportunity.
• Oversee the pharmacy sales bidding process, including kickoff meetings, bid submissions, and overall RFP evaluations.
• Conduct analyses for key business opportunities.
• Provide assistance with finalist preparations and participation.
• Review and present Rx reporting packages, discussing trend drivers and recommending solutions.
• Ensure comprehensive understanding of the Health Plan contract.
• Monitor and analyze Sales Force documentation related to meetings and opportunities.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with the dynamics of the healthcare consulting industry.
• Experience in medical network evaluations and analysis.
• Understanding of the TPA medical model.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Over 10 years of experience in sales or business development.
• Strong skills in delivering presentations.
• Experience in communicating with VP and C-level executives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
• Capability to compile, analyze, and report on standard sales metrics.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized.
• Experience in making strategic business decisions.
• Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Required knowledge of the healthcare and PBM industry.
• Strong emphasis on client satisfaction and retention within the book of business.
• Proven ability in project management.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 15% of the time.
