📋 Description

• Manage a portfolio of products that facilitate Payroll Tax and Compliance workflows

• Lead and guide a team of product management professionals

• Establish long-term product strategies, outcomes, success metrics, and competitive insights

• Supervise product development from initial concept to execution

• Collaborate with teams from Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Legal, Customer Experience, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership

• Develop business cases for product initiatives that align with customer needs and market trends

• Monitor product performance and refine strategies based on feedback and market opportunities

• Oversee the product lifecycle, manage delivery timelines, roadblocks, and risks

• Work with Engineering and Design leadership on timelines, vision, and potential risks

• Foster transparency, collaboration, and validation of ideas regarding product direction

• Guide trade-offs related to opportunities, costs, and resources

• Identify customer pain points and emerging trends to enhance product improvements and innovation

• Encourage data-driven and experimentation-focused product enhancements

• Advocate for the adoption of AI and automation

• Promote product visions to senior leadership to gain support

• Report on product progress and modify strategies based on business developments and customer insights

• Cultivate a collaborative culture that ensures successful product delivery

• Support professional growth and data-informed decision-making among Product Managers


⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience in building integrations and driving integration sales, or platform architecture

• Background in technical product management, data platforms, or B2B SaaS integrations utilizing iPaaS or APIs

• Experience in scaling a partner ecosystem for measurable business impact, particularly focused on partner experience and extensibility

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field

• 7+ years of experience in product management

• A minimum of 3+ years in a leadership position within a fast-paced SaaS environment

• Strong preference for experience in Payroll Tax, Tax Filing, Tax Compliance, Treasury, Banking, Payments, or Financial Technology

• Highly desirable experience with federal, state, and local payroll tax processes, tax filing, tax payments, or compliance workflows

• Candidates lacking direct tax experience should possess significant experience in payroll, HCM, HR technology, workforce management, or closely regulated sectors

• Experience in balancing customer needs, operational demands, compliance obligations, and technical constraints in regulated environments

• Proven track record in leading large-scale customer migrations, platform transformations, or complex operational change initiatives involving multiple stakeholder groups

• Successful experience in developing product vision and strategy by working backward from customer needs

• Strong ability to guide a product lifecycle through strategic thinking and creative problem-solving

• Excellent business acumen with the capability to relate product metrics to business outcomes

• Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills

• Experience collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams

• Strong analytical, organizational, written, and oral communication skills

• Experience managing competing priorities and aligning multiple business areas around shared goals

• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and secure support for product strategies

• Experience in reporting progress during business reviews and making data-informed adjustments

• Strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability to change, and a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment

• Curiosity and enthusiasm for innovation, continuous learning, and staying ahead of industry trends
