Senior GRC Analyst I, SOC 1, SOC 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Accountable for guaranteeing client satisfaction and the effective implementation of engagement plans.

• Act as a mentor and advisor for team members.

• Concentrate on IT controls, security, and compliance within SOC 2 and SOC 1 engagements.

• Assess, test, and document controls pertaining to security, availability, processing integrity, and critical business processes.

• Foster robust client relationships by gaining a thorough understanding of their systems, technology environments, and compliance needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Audit or general Audit.

• Proven experience in leading SOC 1 and SOC 2 audits.

• Familiarity with controls reviews, along with the ability to recommend, design, and advise on relevant IT controls.

• A bachelor's degree in MIS, IT, or a related field is preferred.

• Prior experience in teaching, training, or mentoring other staff is advantageous.

• Relevant professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CIPP, etc., are considered a plus.

• Experience with SOC 2 readiness platforms (e.g., Drata, Vanta, etc.) is preferred.

• Background in leading SOC 1s and developing SOC 1 controls for financial reporting and business processes.
