Information Security Incident Response Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assists clients during security incidents by executing technical investigations and examining digital forensic evidence.

• Delivers clear and actionable insights to stakeholders.

• Manages a range of incident types across various environments.

• Aids in process enhancements and sustains robust communication with clients.

• Executes internal and client-related tasks, including tabletop exercises and incident response readiness assessments.

• Detects observable gaps within client environments and suggests improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in incident response and digital forensics.

• Proficiency in host-based, image, and log analysis.

• Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and other security tools.

• Competence in network analysis utilizing tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump.

• Experience in cybersecurity operations, consulting, DFIR services, or other technical security roles.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).

• Relevant certifications like SANS GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), SANS GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), SANS GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), among others.
