This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee, examine, and respond to security events, alerts, and incidents across corporate, QA, staging, and production environments.
• Conduct vulnerability operations, including intake, prioritization, tracking, and remediation coordination within an AI-driven framework.
• Assist the IAM program through access modifications, privileged access controls, access audits, and validation of controls.
• Continuously enhance security runbooks, workflows, documentation, and operational procedures.
• Identify operational deficiencies and propose actionable improvements to bolster coverage, response, and alignment with best practices.
• Collaborate with IT, Engineering, and business teams to tackle security challenges in both internal and customer-facing environments.
• Manage tasks in Jira, including ticket updates, prioritization, workflow discipline, and backlog management.
• Engage in on-call incident response as required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, or a related security position.
• Experience in supporting security monitoring and response across internal systems as well as cloud or SaaS environments.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management, IAM, and essential security operations workflows.
• Recent hands-on experience with common security tools such as SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanning, email security, and cloud security platforms.
• At least one recognized security certification is required (Security+, CySA+, SSCP, GSEC, GCIH, CISSP, CISM, etc.).
• Experience in a SaaS or software company is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven ownership, reliability, sound judgment, and the ability to adapt to new challenges.
