📋 Description

• Implement innovative technical solutions inspired by concept art and artistic direction

• Convert art direction into rendering code, shaders, and systems

• Develop new tools and streamline workflows for content creation

• Troubleshoot visual and performance issues associated with rendering

• Collaborate with artists to achieve efficient solutions

• Stay informed about industry trends and acquire new skills

• Guide and mentor junior programmers

• Work in partnership with design, art, programming, animation, and audio teams

• Remain updated on technological innovations and identify solutions to development challenges

• Alter core shaders, create new rendering technologies, integrate third-party solutions, and enhance rendering performance to help bring the BioShock universe to life

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in the industry or a related field

• Proven experience in delivering at least one AAA console and/or PC game

• Prior experience in a senior position as a Graphics or Rendering Programmer

• Proficient in 3D Mathematics

• Strong experience in C/C++

• Familiarity with modern GPUs and low-level graphics APIs on the latest gaming platforms

• Experience utilizing graphics debugging tools and performance profiling

• Good understanding and familiarity with current Unreal Engine technology is preferred

• Knowledge of third-party tools like Houdini, Substance Painter, and Z-Brush in relation to their function in a graphics pipeline is an asset
